Update 11/3/25: Pre-orders open now through December 1. Thanks everybody!

What’s going on?
We’re finally pressing our music to vinyl! In celebration we’re also offering a capsule collection of various merch items.
Why the pre-order?
This model helps reduce waste by only printing what’s ordered. Also it provides the upfront costs for vinyl production and keeps our overhead sustainable!
Are there limited quantities?
Vinyl pressing is out of /1000, with four different variants of /250 each. Poster is limited edition out of /50. CD is TBD depending on demand with a cap set to 500 (it would be wild to sell 500 CDs in 2025). For apparel items, no limit – we’ll make whatever sells.
How long do I have?
Pre-orders will be open from November 3 - December 1, with an expected delivery of April 2026.
What if I miss it? Will there be any leftovers?
Try not to! As of right now there are no plans for a repress or reprint. Any unsold records will either go up online next year (maybe?) or be sold directly from us at a show in one of our current projects.
How much is shipping?
Flat rate $10 + $2.50 per extra item. If there is a crazy difference between what you paid + what it costs to ship next spring we’ll throw some money in the package!
Will you ship outside the USA?
Yes, but it's expensive. Sorry! Flat rate $25 + $5 per extra item. If there is a crazy difference in the spring we will get in touch and figure it out together.
I just put in an order, where is it? Are you stealing my money?
No, this is a pre-order: you pay for it, we make it, it shows up when everything’s done. Current estimated vinyl production time is 8-10 weeks, so we’re planning for an April 2026 delivery (if not sooner). Please note all timeline & shipping info will be posted here on the website and we (probably) can’t / won’t respond to any individual inquiries.
Can I get a refund?
No, not unless we goof your order in the spring. All sales final!
Is Merchant Ships a band again?
No, but we do have an active group chat these days that’s nice to keep up with.
Are you playing any shows?
Probably not.
How do I get in touch?
[email protected] but please only write if it’s important! We can’t guarantee a response (see: I’m bad enough at responding to my own emails as it is).
